Following on from the success of the Lost World Fun Day, in spite of challenging weather and some 2000 visitors, our next big festival event is the Crowborough Food Fair held outside and around the town’s Community Centre and Pine Grove car park on Sunday 7 May. As well as a great assortment of artisan food stalls and street food vendors, celebrity chef Peter Bayless will be cooking up some wonderful taster dishes to sample. A live jazzy folk band will be playing to provide an enjoyable relaxing Sunday vibe. Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson will be dropping in for a delicious Edwardian tea in the centre’s refurbished café, whilst visitors can enjoy the art and photography exhibited as part of the festival’s themes of nature and wildlife. Visitors can select their favourites.
